We are SO glad to be on American soil and hear people speaking English! You realize that you take a lot of things for granted.
Here are just a few:
1) Free water
2) Directions to places (in English)
3) Safety (and not having to wear a money belt for fear of pickpockets)
4) Cell phones
5) Phone calls for free
6) Internet access
7) Mexican food (didn't go to Spain, maybe they had some...)
8) One type of currency (geez people, can't we all just use the same money?)
9) Hopping in a car and going somewhere (yes, the buses, trains and trams were great, but....)
10) Cheaper prices/value (can you believe that most things here cost 1/2 to 1/3 the amount they do there?)
11) My pillow
Overall this was one FANTASTIC trip!
